Welcome to my website,
On the left hand side you can already see who I am. To learn more about what I do, please take a look at the bottom of this page and use the links above. You will also find some private information about me. I did my master thesis in physics and my Ph.D. research was focused on biofuels. It lies at the intersection between physics, scientific-computing/ machine learning and biochemistry. I was a member of the following research groups:
            Computational Molecular Biophysics
            Interdisciplinary Center for Scientific Computing
            University of Heidelberg (Germany)

            Center for Molecular Biophysics
            Oak Ridge National Laboratory (USA)

Currently my focus shifted to data science, risk & quantitative finance, in particular credit risk, real estate valuation and ethical finance/ participation banking. I am still using similar methods, but the application shifted from biophysics to finance.

If you have any questions or would like more information about my research, please feel free to contact me. I am looking forward to your message.

Thank you for stopping by, Emal.
